Hola amigos y amigas! So I was going to title this post "That Awkward Moment When You Think You Leave for Illinois on Friday But You Actually Leave on Saturday" but that's a tad bit too long and would probably put people to sleep before they were done reading it. Hence, the shorter current title.

Well, hello there! Since my last two posts were over a week apart, I made a conscience effort to write this post tonight. The summer is going by too fast for me not to document it! Tons of funsies have already happened since my last post! But don't worry....I'll be sure to write down every detail of every little event :) << only half kidding there. Let's get started!

Hotlanta

Hey, peeps! Yesterday was definitely one of the best days of summer I've had so far. The boyfran and I decided to make a short-notice trip to Atlanta a few days ago, and I had a list of fun activities planned! We planned our little road trip to revolve around the World of Coca-Cola, since I got free passes from my Coke Rewards points. I had some other points of interest in mind, but the best road trips are the spontaneous ones, right? That's what I like to call livin' life :)

Summer Lovin'

So, I think I am coming to the realization that this whole frequent-blog-posting thing may be a little more sporadic than I thought it would be. I've been kind of sucking at keeping up with blogging for the past week, but I've just been too caught up with summer lovin' every day! And then I'm too exhausted to blog before bed since I have my 8:00am class each morning. I am fully aware that I'm pretty much just making excuses here, but it makes sense to me, haha! Since I've been absent lately, how 'bout a little recap of highlights from this week?

The Blogger is Back

Hello again! Wowwww, it's been a long time! Let me start off by apologizing for my absence...I didn't desert ya'll, I promise! I did, however, spend my days since I last posted being busy and enjoying every aspect summer has to offer me! And since I have been livin' it up Ke$ha style over here (not really...I don't even like Ke$ha), I have decided it is necessary to fill you all in on a little bit of the fun.

Go Shawty, It's Ya Birthday

Hiya, kiddos! I am so full of energy right now, it's INSANE! I think I can blame the lovely past two days I have had for all my liveliness and hype. See, the boyfran turned 21 today, and I am a firm believer that birthdays should be celebrated to the absolute greatest potential. I mean, birthdays only come once a year, so why not make the most of them, right?? I personally prefer more of a "birthday month" of celebrations of sorts. So, of course, the boyfran's birthday celebration had to be more than one day!

Wow! Is it seriously already 11:00pm??!! Where the heck did the day go?! I swear summer days have got to be sorter or something. That's the only possibly explanation for why it seems like I was just sitting in my 8:00am class a few hours ago. Speaking of my class.... << like that transition? :)
